6th plate ambrotype armed civil war soldier identified taken in photo wagon

Amazing 6th plate ambrotype of Identified soldier Fisher Bennett holding his musket for the camera and looking every bit of shell shocked. His cheeks are nicely Rouged with Gold tint to his belt and pinky ring (scan doesn't show the gold very well) the ambro is perfectly focused and you really can see every detail to his clothing. The best part is whats behind the.. The boxes and wood supports of the photo wagon. These would typically follow the armies around so the soldiers could take a picture and send it back home. Very cool that it was captured in this image. Ambro is in excellent excellent antique condition with a minor scratch by the butt of the musket. Other then that it's near perfect with minor mat abrasions. Comes housed in a full leatherette case.

The second image that came with the ambro appears to be Bennett also but later on in the war. It's mounted on a later board.
