This is a nice cdv of a Civil War soldier. Size is 2 1/4 x 3 1/2. Image shows a young man seated in light colored jacket & pants. Collar appears to be a stiff upright collar.

He has a white shirt & tie with dots on it. Written on back in period ink is: Taken in Charleston, S. There is no name or photographer stamp on the card. Card has soiling, spots & stains.
