Civil War 1/6th Plate Tintype Armed Union Soldier SNY Belt Plate

A nice 1/6th plate tintype showing a standing Union Infantryman holding his musket fixed with bayonet. He wears a SNY belt plate. Flag draped table to his side and a camp scene backdrop.

Also a penciled inscription Grandpa Catnow. At this time I cannot get a positive ID but with some research and time perhaps that can be done. A nice clear image in full case.
