A nice CDV of a young Union soldier identified in pencil on the reverse as John Clark 20 Conn Vols. A second and more recent penciled ID is underneath. HDS verifies that Private John Clark, Company K, 20th Connecticut died of disease February 7, 1865. There is also a 3-cent revenue stamp on the reverse. The carte is in very good condition with light toning and measures about 2 1/2 x 4.
