Genuine Antique CIVIL War Tintype Young Union Soldier In Full Uniform

Civil War tintype of a young Union soldier in full uniform carrying a rifle equipped with bayonet. Framed in a goldtone oval, he displays tinted cheeks and a serious expression. There is some loss of emulsion near the center of the photo and on the left edge. The corners of the frame are slightly separated, there a is lightweight, old, black cloth backing it the frame has been open and closed a few times , perhaps to secure the cloth backing. Tintype measures 3 ¼ x 4 ¼.
