The 1p 8 x 11 ptd/ink discharge has the federal eagle illus logo and is also signed by Captain Timothy W Kelly, 164th New York as Mustering officer. The 152nd New York, Corcoran's Irish Brigade was a noted Irish -American unit and comes with service info: both Private Brown & Lt Sly were wounded in action at the Battle of Spottsylvania Court House.
