Rare American Civil War Soldiers Badge 1861 Captain J. Q. Hattery 16th IL Cavalry

Very rare silver/gold American Civil War shield shaped badge/insignia inscribed Capt. Badge is silver with gold crossed swords/sabers. 1" x 1-1/8" and is in very good condition with no dings or bends. Hattery mustered in at Aurora, IL on August 3rd, 1864 and mustered out on Aug. He was from Kane County, Illinois.
