The men of the 11th NHV Company A, from Epping, New Hampshire served 3 years, and saw heavy fighting in the Battles of Fredericksburg, the Wilderness, Spottsylvania & at Petersburg to name a few. An original full standing view photo of a soldier wearing a civilian overcoat & suit, with his 1858 McClellan cap perched on a pillar by his hand, the latter with crown showing the infantry bugle insignia & numerals for the "11th NHV Co A".
