1850s Thermoplastic OREO STYLE Photograph Case Tintype "Civil War Soldier". This is an original photo of a Civil war Soldier. We did not take it apart as it is a fragile piece.

It appears to be a tintype photo. The top of the frame is missing. It looks like a confederate uniform to me?? This is what was called an Oreo frame as the top part screwed on and it came apart like the cookie. This is for the bottom half of the frame with the photo.
