1860s CIVIL WAR SOLDIER CDV ARMED WITH PISTOL & SWORD ALEXANDRIA VA

We have just acquired a massive collection of early photographic images from the estate of a New York doctor. For the past 60 years, he bought and acquired images from antique shops, flea markets and privately, through acquaintances. There are thousands of images that include daguerreotypes, ambro types, tintypes, CDVs, cabinet cards and union cases.

Here is an eye-popping real photo Civil War CDV image of a handsome, bearded, double-armed soldier. Im not sure if hes Union or Confederate. The soldier is seated and facing the camera.

His sword is across his lap. His pistol butt can also be seen, along with his arm stripes, buckle and heavily buttoned uniform. The back has a studio mark that reads Photographed by Mc Adams - No. 101 King Street, Alexandria VA.
