Rich Charleton City Mass Here are some parts: We are in the woods as usual night-before the regiment was on picket or skirmishing which you are a mind to call it we had to lay behind a tree to keep the bullets off and last night we were relieved.... I heard today that the 27th Mass Reg't were taken prisoner. Bartholemew of Southbridge was the Col of the Reg't... The Bullets whistle over here occasionally but they all go high enough so they don't touch us...
