These came out of a home near Saugerties NY. They had been in the home and the sitters are unknown. Lost only to history but captured poignantly in these old images. The tintype in this sale features a portrait of a Union Civil War soldier in his military uniform. He is seated with hand over wrist and looks just off to the right of the viewer.

This tintype is unframed as it was found. It has its original gold metal.
