1st NY Light Artillery, CW SOLDIERS FOLK ART CANE - Walking Stick The cane measures 35 1/2 inches long. The handle is a hand holding a cannon ball the is inscribed "1st NY LIGHT ARTILLERY" and with the initials "CEW". I had the soldiers name some time ago but has since lost it and don't know how to look it up now. It has a slight bow to the shaft which I tried to show in the photo's with the cane laying next to the ruler. There is a brass band (ferrule) and the tip is of two metals.

The shaft is light and dark somewhat like a snakeskin pattern? The cane is in sound condition but the tip is a little loose from the shrinkage of the wood. Nothing serious just thought I would mention it. There are no packing charges. From a smoke free environment.

Please paid with in 7 days or make arrangements. Thank you for your interest.
