I have a bunch of Daguerreotypes that I will be listing. This one is the largest. It is approx 6 tall. Comes in the velvet decorated leather?

I tried to get a cloe enough photo of the highly decorated Gentleman. Holding a horn (no handle) with tassles. So are his 2 sons. I looked at the large badge on his hat with a loupe and it looks to be - branches with 2 crossed rifles or? With a bugle coming down in the center.

I can not tell for certain but that is definitely the shape. Large Belt Buckle is also very fancy but I can not make out what it is. Top of the photo on the right corner is showing slight darkening - (Please see last photo). Mirrored effect to the piece makes it hard to get a great photo.

Case locks and is in good solid condition with minimal wear to the edges. Back of photo has the names and dates of birth and death. JONATHAN RICE 1820 - 1854.
