Antique Civil War American Soldier Daguerrotype w GUN & Uniform Union Case RARE

The gun looks to be a. 44 Caliber Remington Army Revolver or Colt and he is fully uniformed with what looks to be a sergeant badge. The photo is a little faded up top and has minor wear from age but overall good condition with union case in superb condition. The detail on the front and back of the union case is amazing with floral scrolls and patterned designs.

Case measures 4.3" inches long, 3.1" inches wide. The photo measures about 3.8" inches long and 2.6" inches wide. Exceptional piece and rare to see a uniformed soldier posing with a period gun in these types of photos - true American War collectible!
