BIG! CIVIL WAR TINTYPE OF 2 SOLDIERS IN a killer gutta percha CASE daguerreotype

We have up for your consideration this original tintype that I believe are two civil war soldiers. The tintype seems to be in very nice condition, these fellows have some tinting of pink on cheeks and the fellow on left has some pink tinting around something on his left side coat, tinted brass buttons, (pink dot on fellows lip is on the underside of the glass not the photo) some lint trapped between the photo and glass that could be cleaned off if disassembled, but I dont want to take apart, but photo looks good. The case is a nice black gutta percha case and a real beauty, very fancy scene of woman, hose and dog, in nice condition, with some chipping on edges here and there, it has some play to the hinges (wiggly) but are well intact, inside left liner comes out easily and photo shows writing in back, (just needs glued in if someone wanted to). The case does click shut. This is a larger size one that I think is referred to as a 1/4 plate. 4 1/8" by 5", the brass frame surrounding the photo measures approx. 3 1/4" by 4 1/4" Overall a nice piece, great addition to your collection!!
