A farm house used by Hookers Division during the battle of Fair Oaks (Seven Pines). We see at least two African American soldiers, and several wounded soldiers. This CDV is Titled "old Frame House-on Fair Oaks Battle Field, Pierced by undreds of bullets, and used as a Hospital by Hooker's Division" Brady's Album Gallery. This photograph measures just over 2 1/2" x just under 4 1/4". We will be listing several of these Brady views today!

Condition: A nice looking photograph. Very Good, light wear, and some surface dirt. It also is possible that it was trimmed. It is hard to tell with some of these images because some of them appear to have been produced this way. Please see our large scans for an accurate representation of the image.
