Cigar Smoking Reading Letter 1/6 Tintype Photo Wisconsin 1860s Civil War Soldier

Original 1/6 tintype showing a cigar smoking man reading a letter... Looks like it's signed with the initials S. He is not identified, but.

I have other photos of him out of the same album.. His name was John Teasdale b.

He fought in the Civil War, 37th Wisconsin Infantry. I believe he lived around Mineral Point, Wisconsin at the time this tintype was made. Light bends, old mat abrasions.. Good to very good antique condition overall.
