Auctiva's FREE Scrolling Gallery will enhance your listings. Civil War CDV of Lieutenant Sydney D Woodworth of Berlin Wisconsin who served in the 18th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry and was captured at the Battle of Shiloh Tennessee on April 6,1862. He resigned from the 18th WI on 3/30/1863.

He enlisted as a Captain in the 38th Wisconsin Infantry on 4/15/1864 and from there transferred into the 14th Regiment V. This CDV is one of 4 photos of officers in the 14th Veteran Reserve Corps that I will be listing today. The image is signed in ink on the reverse Truly Yours S.
