Some staining and paper loss, some separation along tenet flap. Update , was alerted to a 1952 book by author RUTH WEBB LEE' A HISTORY OF VALENTINES' information on this rare CIVIL WAR era VALENTINE GREETING is on pages 45 and 47 with a picture of similar mechanical card in PLATE 39 on page 48.
