Civil War Era Soldiers behind Gatling Gun Rhode Island Military Picture Cannon

I think you can make everything out in the pics... On one belt buckle it looks like RIM, or possible RIN but i can`t be sure.. I was told the cannon is a Model 1883 Gatling with the Accles Feed.

So that would be after the Civil War.. Ny help on the war or picture would be much appreciated.
