Civil War Identified Soldier/Officer Capt. The name is written on top portion of 8 x 10 period Albumen photograph mounted in wooden 10 x 12 period frame. The three members of his family are all CDV's attached to back of photograph/frame. Records show that Officer enlisted on 11/1861 as 2nd Lt into Co.

He was transferred into US Volunteers Commissary Dept as Captain & ultimately promoted to Major at end of War.
