Civil War Soldier Records Capture, Release, Yellow Fever On Advertising Card
Offering an eight panel 4 x 9 3/4 advertising card for Simmons Liver Regulator "for diseases arising from a disturbed liver" and containing Civil War notes by an unidentified solider, possibly compiled after the war, in pencil, listed in the memorandum sections. December 1862 on the march through Maryland to Fredericksburg, fell and hurt [myself]. Got a truss at near our camp near Fredericksburg in Winter of 62 or 63, also one from our medical purveyor on order from our surgeon at New Bern, N. March 8, Released March 26, Richmond, VA... 28th, 1865 was mustered for 10 months...
24th was taken with yellow fever... One-fold reinforced with archival tape.
