For sale is a very nice Civil War Soldiers Letter 1863 - 24th NJ Vol Infantry with Generals Of The Potomac Army letter head. Condition is "good with wear". The letter is dated May 29th 1863, The letter have very interesting content about the wounded boys in the regiment doing well and talks of visiting one of the boys William Lawrence. He talks about being in charge of a picket line at night and how hard it would be to attack from the bushes in the dark.

He also mentions how much he thinks at night of being home on stormy days. He mentions that the rebels come over the river last night and asked for something to eat and that his biggest fear is sickness. The letter has much more content.
