A complete printed history of the battles and travels of the regiment is included from September 1861 though April 1862.
Silas Jackson Blair was commonly known as Jack born in Crawford County Pennsylvania October 18th 1832, died in the battle at Pittsburgh Landing in the battle of Shiloh, the only remains they could find of this fallen war hero was his head.
