CSA Confederate Civil War Soldier Telescope Capt George W. Hackworth Co F 1st VA

From the information I was told and what was included with the documents shown, this seems to have belonged to George W. Hackworth who was a Captain in the CSA during the Civil War.

One note card that was with the scope and written by one of his family members is marked George Hackworth 1810 (VA) Mar 1878 (IA), Used Ca 1870 in Iowa. The telescope measures 6.4" long when closed and 16.5" when extended. When looking thru the scope it looks cloudy and blurry. I do not know if this can be fixed. The outside of the scope shows heavy tarnish and oxidation. When extending the scope it is pretty stiff when pulling and pushing it back in. Please take a look at all of the pictures for condition. The documents shown will be included with the scope. Please note that all of the documents are photocopies and not originals.
