Capture a piece of history with the Easy Tennessee Quarter Plate, a rare find for collectors and history enthusiasts alike. Featuring a photograph of a Union soldier taken by the esteemed photographer Keen, this item is an original and authentic slice of the Civil War era, dating back to 1861-65. The photograph is beautifully preserved and showcases the meticulous craftsmanship of the period.

It serves as a poignant reminder of the legacy of the Civil War and the brave men who fought during that tumultuous time. This scarce militaria item is a must-have for any serious collector or historian looking to add depth and authenticity to their collection. In the top left corner of the image, there is a small imperfection in the plate, itself. It does not distract from the image in my opinion, and it can only be seen easily when turning the image in certain ways. Overall, this is a more scarce view of a Union soldier of East Tennessee holding his kepi.

East Tennessee was more prone to be Union, due to the economic differences between the regions. Keen was known for taking images of both sides of the war, as the Library of Congress has some of his work of Confederates, primarily in the early parts of the war. Keen's studio was in Jonesboro, Tennessee.
