Estate Found Antique US Civil War Tintype Portrait of Union Soldier to Restore. This is a charming estate found antique tintype portrait of a young Union Soldier during the Civil War era.

The soldier stands in front of a draped background with his arm resting on a pillar. He is dressed in his Union uniform. Set in the original gold tone engraved tin frame. Dimensions: Overall, it is 3 1/4 x 2 3/4.

The tintype itself if 3 1/8 x 2 5/8. Condition: In overall good condition but in need of some restoration. As pictured, there are scratches, dings, and scuffs to the image. Discoloration and mild wear to the frame.

There is no glass in the frame. This condition is consistent with age and use.
