See the photos of this nice grouping of old, original photographs that, if I remember correctly, I obtained in the 1980s in the north Georgia area. I think they are all from the same family but not certain. There is a 1/6 plate ambrotype in a half case of a uniformed Civil War soldier who appears to be holding a letter, a 1/6 plate ambrotype that is still sealed in paper of an older woman with a partial case, a really nice quarter plate daguerreotype of two small boys/brothers in a full case with a split spine, a 1/6 plate ambrotype of a man with no case, and a nice quarter plate ambrotype of two grown brothers in a half case. I don't have the patience to list these individually and I don't want to split up the family if that is what it is.
