Gorgeous Hand Carved Pipe Zouave Soldier Possibly Civil War Era E. Koch Paris

Would have likely had an amber tip that is missing and the tip is cracked as shown in the pictures. It is marked "E Koch A Paris" or "E Kuch A Paris" the o or u is hard to read, but either way I could not find any information on a maker from Paris with that name. Seems to be pretty rare.

It is dusty as shown in the pictures, I did not clean it, I'll leave that to you. Please see photos for details.
