Condition: Very Good to Excellent overall. Typical edge and corner wear on the case, as shown. The interior velvet liner shows light wear and some minor fading. Hinges and clasp are original, tight and in excellent working order.
The image is slightly off-center but in very good condition; quite clear with very crisp details. The brass preserver has some areas of tarnish. Overall, an exceptional example that will not disappoint; highly-appropriate for any Civil War and/or Union Case collector.
