Sergeant Cornelius McClellan born New Holland, Lancaster County, Pa served in I Company, 126th Pennsylvania including action at the Battles of Fredericksburg & Chancellorsville. An original Civil War Discharge issued to Sgt McClellan May 17, 1863 at Harrisburg, signed by Captain Amos Martin, as company commander, & by Captain Joshua S Fletcher, 11th US Infantry. The eagle illustrated Discharge has minor edge cuts, age stains, Overall VG. Comes w service info- McClellan also served as Captain of the 101st Paalong with Brother Thomas in the Petersburg Siege in 1865 and is buried in Union Gardens Cemetery, Mifflintown, Juniata County, Pennsylvania.
