There are four pictures of Civil War soldiers in uniforms, all with Philadelphia back marks but unfortunately none of them have identification. There are enough other people identified by name, however, that it may be possible to figure out the soldiers.
There is also one image of a group of school children outside of a brick schoolhouse from the 1860s. The surnames include Webb, Thomas, Griswold, Walter, etc. These are all old Philadelphia names. Original tooled leather album by Lippincott, Philadelphia is overall in good condition. One brass clasp is missing, however. Binding detached at back as shown.
