Beautiful purple colored figuard velvet, with ornate gold (brass) color surround plate and design stamped edge preserver. This nice tin type has everything you are looking for in a civil war tin type. The tin type is very clear, You can see multiple weapons. The soldier is standing in full dress. The only way it could be any better is if we knew the soldiers name.
