Absolutely amazing 4th plate tintype of a quadruple armed union soldier in full view holding a Lorenz musket at the ready a rare pepper box gun in his belt a dagger on the other side and his bayonet on his hip. With a beautiful American flag hanging behind him to show is allegiance to the United States. The soldiers cheeks are tinted a light pink his buttons, shoulder scales, buckle, hat brass, and part of the dagger are all tinted gold and the American flag is tinted in a faded red and blue. Just a gorgeous image all around.
Tintype is in great antique condition with some slight surface wear and one tiny crease towards the top. Comes housed in a full leatherette case.
