What we have here is a Civil War era Pipe. I do believe that it's a soldier with his hat. The person I bought it off of said that they bought it from the original family of the soldier. I can't guarantee that this story is true but that is what I was told. I'm still not 100% certain that this is a Civil soldier but my guess is that it is one.
