Rare Fredricks CDV Barney & Maria Williams Pfd for Lincoln & Civil War Soldiers

Original CDV of husband and wife comedic duo Barney & Maria Williams, photographed by Fredricks in 1861. Barney was a performer, mainly in minstrel shows, and Maria was a ballet dancer. When they met, they partnered up to form a very popular singing and comedic duo, performing at one time for Abe Lincoln and for the Irish Brigade, during the Civil War. CDV is 4" x 2.5" and excellent antique condition.
