RARE ID'D CIVIL WAR SOLDIERS WHETSTONE SHARPENING STONE JCL SRM Confederate

For your consideration is this wondeful antique Civil War, or earlier, soldiers whetstone or sharpening stone with an incredible patina. The top of the wood box has 2 sets of initials carved in to it "JCL" & "SRM". This style of carving & letters is what is seen on Civil War musket stocks & Confederate wood canteens. Measures approx 7.5" long x 2.5" wide x 2 tall.
