Cabinet card photo of civil war cadet soldier dated 1862. Signed on front and back.

Name looks to read "Alexander Comfort" or possibly "Cornforth" or Something similar. Also reads "Regiment 1" and either Miss or Mass, possibly indicating Mississippi or Massachusetts.

Also says "Rochester" on the back, and there happens to be both a Rochester Massachusetts and Mississippi. With some proper time and research I'm sure it's new owner will be able to track down some better info then we could in a 15 min internet search. Either way, super cool photo and great rare piece of history! Please message us with any questions!
