SPANISH AMERICAN WAR/SOLDIERS DRILL/BATTLE Circa 1898 Tents Horse Drawn Cart

Circa 1898 - Tents Horse Drawn Cart. If you know, please reach out and educate me on this photo. Not sure if this is infantry, cavalry or other group. They look to be in line for either a battle or a drill formation.

There must be a few hundred soldiers in the photo. Tents and what looks to me like a horse drawn buggy in the background. There are soldiers on horseback, some of them white or light colored horses. At least some of the soldiers officers? Have swords as a part of their uniform.

Unsure if they are the officer's swords or another type. The frame itself is neat and even the glass has an old look to it with some small imperfections and bubbles in it. The back of the frame is rough hewn wood on the inside backing and a picture of it is included.

The picture inside the matting opening is 9.5" x 5.75" and the frame is 15.5" x 11". If you are into very old military photos, this is for you.
