6th plate ambrotype of two soldiers with fixed bayonets, hand painted gold buckles. Comes in a full case that is 3.75"x 3.25" when closed. Condition notes: Looks to be in very good condition. When held at an angle you can sort of see that the black paint on the back of the glass is starting to craze and flake (not the image itself). Those vertical lines in the upper left and bottom right look like they might be on the photo surface but under magnification don't appear to me to be mat abrasions to me... Maybe they've always been there.
