Unique CIVIL WAR Soldier Sewing Kit with Letter Brother of William Hamilton
This unique item is a soldier sewing kit accompanied by a letter. Found on estate sale in rural Colorado. According to the notes on the envelope where this kit was stored, this kit belonged to a brother of William Hamilton. Sewing kit of a brother of William Hamilton, who came from Canada & fought in the war of 1863, also in the Mexican war. This was carried by him in both wars. A silver globe was also brought back by him. This was used to carry secret messages. Sewing kit is in good condition and comes as shown.
