Nice original Civil War soldier's razor and leather strope w/drawer. Nice design and nice aged patina. Stencilled faintly on the bottom of the drawer is E. Records show that Edwin A. Field served with the 52nd Mass.
Nice and very rare with the soldier's identification. Razor was made by Wade & Butcher, Sheffield, England, and they were well known to make CW razors. Razor has nice horn handle and is in very good condition. A nice military used and identified soldier's personal item, to add to any collection and especially to go with a collection of soldier's personal used and camp items. Almost impossible to find good identified items any more. These have been in my collection for many years. Strope and razor are typical size for these items.
