Nice 4th plate tintype of union soldier identified on back as Johnny Comway, 18 died in war another note has his age as 17. It's a nice view of a young man off to war with his rifle. Comway served in the 7th Maine Infantry which made a desperate assault on the Piper farm at the battle of Antietam.
