Also inscribed in pencil to the original owners. But it was printed 135 years ago. Considering how good the cover/spine art still is, it's in nice shape.
The book is about the "war" (back then it was known the "war" was the civil war) and the "camp, march, and picket; battlefield and bivouac; prison and hospital" by George F Williams who was in the 5th and 146 regiments of volunteers and a war correspondent with the Army of Potomac. Fraternally dedicated by him to "My old comrades who carried the sword and musket in the Federal Armies during the American Civil War". This was considered to be a fantastically detailed accounting of the war, and after 135 years it's STILL IN PRINT!
