Wonderful Mounted Civil War Horse Soldier at Outpost or Camp ¼ Plate Tintype

Wonderful Civil War ¼ plate outdoor tintype of a mounted Civil War horse soldier. He poses stoically upon his steed with saddle bags in place. It appears to be an outpost or camp of some sort with buildings and a tent in the background, and supplies on the ground. There's another horse and hitching post off to the far right.

A wonderful image, the tintype displays quite well with excellent contrast and depth of tone. Condition : Light crazing throughout and a couple of light bends, otherwise nice. The crazing is much more noticeable in the scan, and views nicely in hand. Housing : Nice full brown leatherette case with floral motif, decent leather spine repair although the front cover has separated, and nice ruby silk pad.
